The 2020 General Election is here and it is time to make our voices heard! It is critical that people of faith and goodwill turn out to vote. We must elect bold leaders at every level who will work for racial & economic justice and build the New Normal!
Below is all the information you need to make a plan to vote.
Important Dates & Deadlines
- Mail-in ballot will be sent to all active registered voters in Washoe County starting October 5, 2020. All mail-in ballots must be postmarked by November 3, 2020, to be counted.
- To ensure you receive a ballot in the mail, check that your voter registration is up to date: www.registertovotenv.gov
- Early Voting is October 17-30, 2020.
- Election Day is November 3, 2020.
How to Vote
There are 3 ways you can vote this election. Click on the links below to learn more and make a plan to vote!
Vote by Mail
You can complete your ballot at home and mail it in, no postage required. All ballots must be post marked by November 3, 2020 to be counted.
Drop Off Ballot
After receiving and completing your mail-in ballot, you can drop it off yourself during Early Voting (October 17-30) and on Election Day (November 3) at designated drop-off locations.
Vote In Person
You can also vote in person during Early Voting (October 17-30) and on Election Day (November 3) at designated polling locations.
